Patrick Boivin Reserve Brut Premier Cru Champagne Nv
Custardy apple pastry (I’ve had an apple-custard doughnut that smelt like this) and also, curiously, the smell of uncooked cookie dough. Wide in the beam, ample, comforting. The kind of champagne you’d drink with dessert rather than to whet your appetite.

The Corky Verdict
We are proud to work with Patrick Boivin importing their exceptional Champagne into the UK for the first time.
Amy – This is a beautiful 1er Cru Champagne from a small producer. I agree with the professional review above that this has an apple creamy quality. I’ve never tried a Champagne like it.
Sam – I love this. A sweet and delicious Champagne that should be enjoyed on its own, with desert or a cheese course or perhaps even asian food. Personally I would sit and enjoy this one as an aperitif.

The Boivin family have been vine growers since 1978 with three generations continuing their family’s tradition in making the finest Champagne. Patrick and his wife, Marie-Madeleine, are passing on their knowledge to their daughters.
Their small 6 hectares of vineyards are mainly based in the Vallée de la Marne in the Epernay Region. Their parcels of vines are all located in the prestigious 1er Cru villages such as Pierry, Cumières, Vinay, Brugny-Vaudancourt and Damery and of course Epernay, Capital City of Champagne.
