Patrick Boivin Cuvée Tradition Brut Premier Cru Champagne 2002
We are proud to work with Patrick Boivin importing their exceptional Champagne into the UK for the first time.
A golden yellow colour with fine and delicate carbonation. Rich and powerful aromas of wax, accompanied by notes of white flowers (lime blossom and light tobacco). Yeast character from the lees giving notes of toasted bread. Balanced palate with notes of citrus, white fruits, honey, lime and lemon in the finish. A rich and delicious 2002 Champagne.
The Corky Verdict
Amy –A showstopper of a Champagne. There is so much going on with this stunning wine. Delicate fruit and citrus flavours that work so well against a nose of complexity.
Sam –This Champagne is 100% Chardonnay which gives this wine a huge amount of body and flavour. A touch of honey with that gorgeous toasty character that you would normally associate with an older vintage Champagne. A special wine for a special occasion.

The Boivin family have been vine growers since 1978 with three generations continuing their family’s tradition in making the finest Champagne. Patrick and his wife, Marie-Madeleine, are passing on their knowledge to their daughters.
Their small 6 hectares of vineyards are mainly based in the Vallée de la Marne in the Epernay Region. Their parcels of vines are all located in the prestigious 1er Cru villages such as Pierry, Cumières, Vinay, Brugny-Vaudancourt and Damery and of course Epernay, Capital City of Champagne.
